Joined in 2006, TOMA 4 assembles four young musicians from Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Tenerife and Barcelona. The group is an exciting revelation, a musical crossculture point based in the contemporary jazz language, with lots of straight-ahead improvisation. The music contained in his debut album includes an outstanding 7-minute rendition to Thelonious Monk, along with nine compositions in the Bop vein with some occasional melodies from his different birthplaces.
