A very rare recording of Teddy Charles available for the first time on CD.
This was one of Teddy Charles groups, and one that turned out to be very exciting. The much-needed ripping voice was Idress Suliemans, the subtle pulsing voice Teddys. The cooking was contributed neatly by Art Farmer and Jerry Segal. Mal Waldron is another thing: an excellent backgrounder, and a declarative voice in the foreground on solos.
