The intoduction of a project where Sergi Sirvent brings us closer to his most intimate vision of music from the solo piano.
On CD 1, we find completely written pieces - such as the 4-movement suite that entitles the entire work, we find other written pieces but with certain improvisations on the formal structure, (more common in jazz) and at certain times some passages of free improvisation within a fully written theme, since it is a space that forms part of the composition.
On CD 2, the compositions are completely improvised, some with certain prior criteria and others more intuitive. The goal and challenge of the pianist and composer - which he wants to share with the listener - is to find the middle point where the interpretation of music composed and written by himself can sound improvised, or that music invented on the spot sounds with the proper definition of a written work.
