Ramon Diaz is a consolidated musician in the Spanish jazz scene. In this, his third work for Fresh Sound New Talent, he shows his maturity as a leader and composer. He was born in the Canary Islands and has been living in Barcelona since 1987. He has always received positive reviews, both for his recordings and live performances, full of energy and ingenuity.

Rathers, they sound like a straight step foward, a bit fancier, a cleaner sound, but with all hard bop principles intact-led by the Art Blakey af the Canary Island.
