This CD presents a delightful collection of Nina & Frederiks big European record hits. Its opening spotlights her songs in the film Formula for Love (1959), Wondrous, Wondrous Love, and Hello, Pretty One, and the title song with the voice and trumpet of their guest artist Louis Armstrong in an engaging and humorous repartee with Nina & Frederik.

All the remaining songs provided a key to Nina & Frederiks great popularity: they were at home in all the modern European languages, and built up a rich and varied repertoire of songs from many countries: standards, folk and sophisticated songs of many types (with a personal leaning to material of Spanish and Caribbean flavor).

In the early Sixties, this handsome young singing team captivated record-buyers, concert-goers, night-club habitués, and film and TV audiences everywhere on the Continent with magical facility. Now, more than fifty years after Nina & Frederik conquered Europe, we are sure that this romantic, superbly talented couple will immediately be taken into our hearts once again.
