"Big Little Dream" is born from two essential starting points. On the one hand, devotion to two key references: Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. This becomes an implicit dialogue between the two influences, as if two opposing energies end up finding their place. Like yin and yan, day and night, the two faces of the moon. On the other hand, the initial idea from which the name of this project comes, to bring to small format, intimate, some mythical themes of Big Band, such as “Flight off the foo birds” by Count Basie’s Orchestra.
