Review:
"Louis Armstrong caught his career second wind in the early '50s performing with his All-Stars. His album, Satchmo: Live at Symphony Hall, hit the LP Top Ten and he continued to tour Europe often. Complete 1950-1951 All Stars Decca Recordings collects much, if not all, of the trumpet/vocalist legend's work during that first year of the '50s. It is not clear as to why this period deserves such an anthology over any other period, but it is great work nonetheless and often overlooked."
