"A rambling set of mainly slow and mainly meandering pieces, this offering by the silken-toned altoist sometimes strives to hold the attention. There is, however, pungent guitar from Radley and crisp punctuation from Poor. The Hammond B3 is played with notable restraint, coming alive on the fifth track, Gnu, which is my favourite and a challenging wake-up call. This is a quartet with considerable powers of interplay."
