This is a musical suite dedicated to the city of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, a town neighboring Paris notably via the Porte de Clignancourt, known for its famous Flea Market.
The nine pieces which constitute La Suite Audonienne were composed by Esaie Cid, in homage to this city, where he has lived for many years.
