Flamenco singer Diego el Cigala sets the sequel of his Grammy awarded previous work "Lágrimas Negras," a huge hit of Latin-flamenco fusion and the album that shot El Cigala to fame, with a million copies sold worldwide in 2003.
"Dos lágrimas" follows the flamenco and Latin American music line of the
previous album: Boleros, Chachachá, Copla and Tango. Cover versions of 11
classic tracks. The main difference is the list of musicians. In this case he is not joined by Bebo Valdés, who is replaced by Guillermo Rubalcaba, another veteran Cuban artist. The rest of the set is made up by Richard Galliano on accordion, Reinaldo Creagh (vocalist of the Vieja Trova Santiaguera), Manuel Machado on trumpet, Yelsy Heredia on bass, Jaime Calabuch on piano, Diego del Morao on flamenco guitar, and the percussion of Changuito, Tata Güines and Sabú Porrina.
