Carme Canela and Jurandir Santana have joined their marvelous talents to pay homage to “La Fusa”, a classic of Brazilian music. The result is a delight!
Carme has a sweet voice and excellent intonation. She goes through the Brazilian songbook with ease, elegance and swing and leaves her imprint full of intimacy and beauty on each song.
Jurandir is an extraordinary Brazilian musician. With his talent, his enormous creativity and a very original way of playing, he expresses his personality in every arrangement. For whoever is listening, the result is fresh and full of marvelous melodic and harmonic surprises. I especially like the version they offer of "Berimbau/Consolação" and "Canto de Ossanha."
“Celebrating” is for listening to on a Sunday at home, stretched out in a hammock in the middle of a garden full of flowers and lush trees and with the feeling of calm in the air that comes from this “Music from the Heart.”
