This CD contains 24 tracks by this great Cuban female singer in her beginning.
When in Cuba people speak of Caridad Cuervo, one immediately thinks of the great singer Celia Cruz. Like her, Caridad felt a deep predilection for Afro-Cuban music and began her singing career by imitating Celia Cruz and drawing inspiration from her. Just like Celia, she was later adored in Cuba and affectionately referred to as La Guarachera. In this CD, shes accompanied by outstanding bands directed by Yoyo Casteleiro, Silvio Contreras, Severino Ramos and the conjunto Estrellas de Chocolate.
