There are few musicians on this planet who can boast of having been at the heart of the sound of Paco de Lucía and Chucho Valdés, of Enrique Morente and Celia Cruz, of Isaac Delgado and the Van Van. The fourth album in Alain Pérezs career is a record of contemporary Cuban music. Hablando con Juana, blazes new trails in Cuban music.

The album was recorded in Madrid and mastered in Orlando, where there are elements of contemporary Cuban salsa and other more restful traditions, Son and Bolero. Alain Pérez sums it up: Hablando con Juana is the Cuban music I make. Preserving the essence of its roots, the legacy of my classics and ceaselessly looking to the future, because my music was always a benchmark.
