Javier Rojo
Born in Guadalajara in 1999 and currently residing in Basel (Switzerland), Javier is a talented young saxophonist, clarinetist and composer.
Despite his young age, Javier has shared the stage with renowned artists like Lionel Loueke, Chano Domínguez, Carles Benavent, Aaron Parks, Antonio or Marc Miralta among others, performing at festivals in Switzerland, Austria, Canada and within the Spanish scene in festivals such as Cádiz, Córdoba, Elche, Begur, Guadalajara, Teatre Coliseum (Mas i Mas Festival), Jamboree Jazz Club or La Pedrera.
Currently, Javier is finishing his Master in Performance at the Jazzcampus in Basel, with mentors such as Mark Turner, Brad Mehldau, Jorge Rossy, Larry Grenadier, Jeff Ballard, Chris Cheek or Ambrose Akinmusire.
