Benet Palet
Born in Ullastrell, Barcelona, in 1964. Benet Palet started in the jazz world around the Jazz Cava of Terrassa in its first period. He participates in international Jazz Seminars with Thad Jones, Hal Crook, Chuck Israels, and Marc Johnson. At the same time he's being part of the program in numerous International Jazz Festivals: Terrassa, Europa Jazz Festival, Getxo, Madrid, Seville, Barcelona, Ibiza, Antwerp, Copenhagen, etc.
He has collaborated with a large number of renowned musicians and with various groups such as Joan Monné, Iruña Big Band, Quico Pi de la Serra, Emilio Solla & Afines, Big Band de Bellaterra and Big Band Jazz Terrassa. His trumpet and flute sounds in numerous recordings with Hiroshi Kobayashi, Arturo Serra, Víctor de Diego, Elisabet Raspall, Ramon Cardo, Mikel Andueza, Albert Sanz, David Mengual, and more recently as part of the drummer Enrique Heredia Trio.
