Jan Domènech
Jan Domènech, pianist and composer from Barcelona, studied performance at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu and received a master's degree at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). He is currently studying for an additional master's degree at the Royal Conservatory The Hague, Netherlands. In his study Jan has been mentored by pianists such as Albert Bover, Marco Mezquida, Rob van Bavel, Ignasi Terraza, Wolfert Brederode and Jozef Dumoulin, and has been awarded several AIE Scholarships.
Domènech has taken part in projects such as Sant Andreu Jazz Band, La Magia de la Veu, Rik Mol’s Aspire Band, George Povey Ensemble, Íñigo Peña Quintet, Gran Ensemble of the Liceu. He has participated in the recording of more than 15 albums, including his debut CD "Joan Chamorro Presenta Jan Domènech."
