Luís Nacht
Luis Nacht was born on January 17, 1959 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a child he studied flute and guitar, but it was at the age of 15 that he began formal flute studies in Mexico City with R. Islas. It is there where he begins to work professionally as a flutist and singer of Latin music, traveling with the band Grupo Sur through Central America and Europe.
Later he incorporated the language of Jazz with the study of the saxophone, taking sax lessons with George Coleman and Richie Beirach in New York City, and E. Beilin, C. Lastra and Chachi Ferreira in Argentina.
Nacht works regularly in Argentina, where he recorded and played with jazz musicians such as: Afro Jazz, En El Aire, E. Fazzio (Italy), Pepi Taveira, Pablo Bobrowicky, M. Iannaconne, Carlo Actis Dato (Italy), J. Crawford (UK), E. Beilin, Ernesto Jodos, Enrique Norris, Oscar Giunta, Rodrigo Domínguez, Fernando Tarrés, Lucía...
