Larry Hovis (1936-2003) was the singer and actor best known for playing Sergeant Carter on the 1960s television sitcom 'Hogan’s Heroes.' Even though he recorded somesuccessful singles, "My Heart Belongs to You" was his only album. He picked his favorite romantic ballads and some popular up-tempo tunes, as well as a couple of fine originals, and sang them all with remarkable ease and a flair all his own. Jack Marshall’s music in the background provides smoothly understated support, sparkled with fine solos by trumpeter Don Fagerquist and trombonist Milt Bernhart.
