Arturo Serra
Born in Valencia. Arturo Serra had his training as a percussionist in the Conservatory of Valencia, with its formation and its first actions in classical music his beginnings in the world of jazz began as part of the Big Band Sedavi (Valencia).
He has studied with teachers like Gary Burton, Ed Saindon, Jerry Bergonzi, and David Santoro. He has taken part in masterclasses taught by musicians such as Mulgrew Miller, Pat Metheny, Barry Harris, Kenny Barron, Cedar Walton, Hal Galper, Steve Nelson, Frits Landesbergen, Bruce Barth, and Jim Snidero.
