Marc Martín
Marc Martin begins as a pianist of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band and becomes the pianist who owns the formation. Inspired by the sound of Oscar Peterson, Monty Alexander, Ahmad Jamal, and jazz pianist from Barcelona Ignasi Terraza, in which the formal precepts of the jazz genre and the freshness and ease of his youth are blended to perfection.
As part of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band he has collaborated with musicians as outstanding in the jazz scene as Dick Oatts, Jesse Davis, Perico Sambeat, Ignasi Terraza and Terell Staford.
The trio is completed by the bass player Juan Pastor, former student of the renowned Horacio Fumero, with clear and tasteful language. And in the battery Jordi Pallarés disciple of Aldo Caviglia, of good swing and elegance.
