Luismi Segurado was born in Salamanca in 1986. He started his studies of classic piano in the “Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Salamanca” with the master Pedro Salvatierra. After to prepare his knowledges of jazz with Chema Corvo, he studied Jazz Piano in the Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco, “Musikene” with the master Iñaki Salvador.

From this time Segurado joined his band "Luismi Segurado Trío” playing at important venues and jazz festivals like “Heineken Jazzaldia” of San Sebastián. In 2017, at his 29 years he recorded his first album as a leader for the Fresh Sound New Talent inprint entitled "Tritones y Serendipia”, followed two years after by "Hocicology" also on Fresh Sound records.
