Pol (Barcelona, 1989) grew up in a musician family, therefore he started playing the piano very early with his father. He studied classical trumpet at the Conservatori Municipal de Barcelona, and finished with an Honorable Mention. He finished his bachelor studies from jazz trumpet in 2012 at the ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya). In 2013 he started his master studies at the KUG (University of Music and Performing Arts Graz) with Jim Rotondi, Stjepko Gut, Tobias Weidinger, Renato Chicco, Ed Neumeister and Michael Abene among many others.

Inside of the professional world, Pol performed around Europe with musicians as Daniel Cacija, Oleg Markov, Martin Gjakonovski, Christian Salfellner, Emiliano Sampaio, Renato Chicco, Mátyás Gayer, David Mengual, Judit Nedderman, Joan Monné, Joan Terol or Lluc Casares. Pol recorded albums with some of the musicians already mentioned and others like Lee Konitz or inside the Jamaican music scene with bands like The Oldians.

As a leader, he toured with his trio around Spain playing in many clubs and festivals. Beside that, because of his first album release called La Ganadora (Underpool 2013) they got selected by the Federation of Young Musicians from Catalonia during the season 2014-15'. When Pol started his master in Graz, he developed in many ways and started writing music for strings and playing his own music around Austria and Catalonia. His last album, Mallorca has a lot of compositions of his own written for a big ensemble with strings.

From October 2016 Pol is teaching at the CSMIB (Conservatori Superior de Música de les Illes Balears) in Palma de Mallorca.
