Ramon Fossati
Born in Barcelona and based in Paris, Ramon Fossati is a trombonist, composer and arranger. Fossati begins his career as a guitarist, debuting in Barcelona in 1986. In 1989 he moves to Paris, where he founds and directs, together with vibraphonist Oriol Bordas, the Paris-Barcelona Swing Connection, a nonet that impacts Europe with 4 albums and more than 500 concerts between 1990 and 1995.
After this intense period as a guitarist, composer and producer, his career was marked by a turning point. Fossati discovers in the trombone the instrument that fully meets his expressive needs. Its versatility, lyricism and its wide timbre possibilities absolutely attracts him and he decides to devote himself to the trombone.
